Museum Hill Adobe

This custom sustainable home was designed and built by the Palo Santo Design-Build team.  It is an all electric home, with the highest level of thermal performance and energy efficiency.  It is certified to the Platinum Level under the USGBC’s LEED for Homes program and is a net zero energy home.  It utilizes a grid tied photovoltaic system to produce all of its required energy, there is an electric heat pump system to heat and cool the in-floor radiant system.  It incorporates adobe construction as a heat sink for thermal mass, which offers a feature of architectural interest in keeping with the classical Santa Fe Pueblo Revival style of the home.
